1st Eurasian Youth Games  \\  1-5-2007

1st Eurasian Youth Games will be organizing according to design of Intergovernmental Committee Eurasian Economic Community number 308 from 23 June 2006.

The Games will be held during the period 17 - 23 September 2007 in Brest / Belarus.

Belt Wrestling is the only official traditional wrestling sport which is included in program of the 1st Eurasian games.

The team include: 3 boys, 3 girls, 1 trainer, 1 referee, 1 head delegation,
Total - 9 people.

Competitions will be spent by rules of International Belt Wrestling Association in a covered sports arena. Duration of fight - 3 minutes for young men, 2 minutes for girls (clean time).

Age of participants: U 16 (1992-1993 years born).
Weight categories of participants: boys - up to 50 kg, - 60 kg, - 80 kg,
girls - up to 52 kg, - 58 kg, - 66 kg.
The Technical equipment of competitions and the uniform for athletes will be given by the International Belt Wrestling Association.
