The Russian belt wrestling championships took place in Volgograd   \\  7-6-2007

In last days in Volgograd has passed the Russian belt wrestling championships. In championships have taken part more than 130 sportsmen from 15 regions of the country.

In number of favorites of the championships of Russia experts carried combined teams of Moscow, Tatarstan, Bashkortostan and Karachaevo-Circassia. As has shown tournament, the lion's share of awards "has left" in these of region. Sportsmen from Lipetsk and Volgograd areas and Mordovias also have perfectly proved.

In opinion of experts ARBWF, last years owing to the accepted rules in the best party quality of the struggle considerably has changed, the special attention of democratic character and staginess of duels is paid. Therefore on a carpet any more you will not see ineffectual three or five minute trample of sportsmen. In such cases to the judge is obliged to give a penal point for passivity, and at once to both fighters.

- The fact is obvious: from tournament to tournament the level of gathering, skill and psychological preparation of sportsmen raises, - the first vice-president ARBWF Haris Ayupov has told. - From its part with a view of the further popularization of national kinds of sports we do everything that our kind of sports was constantly improved and by that involved as much as possible admirers.

Recently All-Russia Belt Wrestling Federation have cancelled three-point throws with high amplitude, and falling on a greater area of a back is considered for the sportsman utter defeat.
- Practice shows, that we on a correct way, - adds Haris Ayupov. - Innovations have helped to increase staginess of single combats, and this fact is very important for all us.

- For us there comes the responsible period of preparation for the next world championship on struggle on belts which takes place in Ufa within the limits of official celebrations in honour of the voluntary introduction of Bashkiria into structure of Russia, - the president of the All-Russia and International Belt Wrestling Federations Rif Gaynanov has told. - some tens combined teams from the countries of the Europe, Asia, Africa, Northern and South America will take part In this sports holiday,.
It is supposed, that the world championship on struggle on belts in capital of Bashkortostan will be visited by the president of Russia Vladimir Putin.
